    Sero is a true gem—he’s good on the leash, has no food aggression, is not a big barker, and his personality is equal parts playful and relaxed. 

    This smart boy is also crate-trained and responsive to commands, making him a perfect companion for an active family. While he can live in an apartment, he would absolutely love a yard to play in.

    This sweet, 2-3 year old Jindo mix has lots of love to give. After being rescued as a puppy in Korea with her sister, Mongsil thought she found her forever home - but she was returned, and is now searching for a forever home in the US. 

    Mongsil is incredibly kind and friendly with all humans, dogs, and even cats she has met.

    Mongsil is potty trained and knows basic commands, and also walks well on a leash. She is eager to please her “person”. This sweet girl is a true gem. 💎

Jasper

  • Jasper and Jolene are Jojo’s babies. Jojo was found wandering the streets of China, pregnant, hungry and alone. Thankfully our rescue partner found her and took her in. Jojo is now a mama to Jolene and Jasper. The pups are both so friendly and sweet. They have wonderful dispositions and have done great with dogs and cats they’ve met.

  • Koni a survivor. At only 2 years old and 19 lbs, he was rescued from a snare trap in Korea… Our rescue friends found him on the verge of death… He battled sepsis, heartworm, his leg and more. The Korean vets ended up having to amputate one of his legs, but he survived.

    He’s now healthy and ready for his own forever family! Konie does well with all people he has met and is very affectionate with people. He’s currently in Korean foster care with 5 other dogs until he is adopted in America. He has done amazing with the foster dogs and losing a limb hasn’t held him back ! He loves to play with toys and loves fetch.

  • Maisie is a Chinese meat trade survivor. She was saved from a rescuer we have worked with many times in the past. Unfortunately, this woman is an independent rescuer with 250 dogs in her yard and very little means…. Each year she begs us to help a handle of smaller dogs because she fears they will freeze to death in the winter cold… We do our best to help her shelter as well with dog beds and blankets and of course take on some babies.

  • Ella was pulled from a Korean shelter in the nick of time… She was set to be euthanized the next day. And the condition our Korean partners found her in was appalling.. Poor baby looked like she was a breeder dog discarded once deemed “useless”. She has only3 teeth and an injured leg that will require surgery… Ella is a fighter and once healed, we want to find her a wonderful home in America.

Haru

  • Meet Haru, a beautiful 2-year-old Black Labrador-Jindo mix, who is 50 lbs of pure joy. She was rescued in Korea where she had been chained up living outside…and now this affectionate girl is ready to find her forever family in the US! 

    Haru is a social butterfly who gets along well with all people (men and women) and other dogs she has met. She’s very playful, but also has a calm, relaxed, and loving personality. She is the perfect companion, just waiting to be your new best friend. 🫶

    A unique feature about Haru: she was born without a chin. This doesn’t cause her any trouble, though she sometimes dribbles a little when she’s eating—it just adds to her adorable charm!

    This smart girl is already crate-trained, can be handled easily, and is great on a leash. She rides well in cars, is not destructive, and would be fine living in an apartment (though a yard would be a nice bonus!). She’s a well-balanced, friendly dog with so much love to give.   • Meet Rae, a sweet Corgi girl with a story of resilience and a heart full of love. At 4-years-old, she’s a true survivor. Rae was found by our rescue partner on the streets of Korea, after her previous owner shaved off all her fur and threw her out. But despite everything she’s been through, Rae’s spirit has remained incredibly sweet and loving. 💕

    Rae is now in foster care in Illinois and doing great. She can still be nervous around people and dogs, we think she’d do best with an alpha dog or easy going dog to teach her out to be part of the family. She is potty-trained, enjoys going for walks, and loves playing fetch with squeaky toys. Her foster says she’s truly “a dog who loves being loved.”

    A beautiful 3-year-old, 26lb Corgi girl whose life was spared from an unspeakable fate. She was one of the dogs bravely rescued by our team in China from a truck bound for the Yulin Dog Meat Festival.

    Despite her challenging past, Croissant is nothing short of a complete sweetheart. She is a smiley girl thriving in her care in China, and has shown her friendly, gentle nature with all dogs, cats, and people she has met! 🤍

    Croissant is now safe, healthy, and ready to put her rescue story behind her. She is patiently waiting for the application that will get her to a new life and family in the US!

  • Pluto is a Chinese Meat Trade Survivor. This sweet boy was so malnourished when a local Chinese rescuer reached out to us for help. She saved him from a slaughterhouse and couldn’t give him the care he desperately needed.

    Pluto is now safe, loved and at our safe haven in China until he’s adopted in the UK or US.

    Pluto has done great with all dogs and cats he’s met so far!

    Choco’s story is a difficult one to tell. This sweet boy was abandoned and left behind in a house in South Korea after his owner moved out. Our rescue partner @withafto found him surviving among piles of trash and filth, so neglected that he was almost unrecognizable. Poor baby also had stage 2 heart-worm; which he has since beaten and finished treatment for.

    Despite Choco’s hard past, he is now the ultimate “shadow dog.” Choco’s favorite place to be is right by his foster mom’s side, following her from room to room just to stay close. He is a gentle and affectionate boy, who is just looking for love.

    🤍 Personality: Incredibly gentle, calm, and devoted. He is a loyal companion who thrives on human connection.

    🤍 Home Life: He is a peaceful boy who just wants to be where the people are. A true “velcro dog” in the best way possible!

    Choco is currently in foster care in South Korea and is searching for his forever home in the U.S. He will arrive fully vaccinated, microchipped, and neutered. He can fly into many major U.S. airports. ✈️

Yuma

  • Yuma was rescued from a Korean kill shelter. Poor baby is so tiny, only 5.7lbs and has no teeth. Baby girl is so so sweet and chill and still so open to love despite being thrown into a kill shelter at 8 years old.

    She has recovered from her dental extractions and patella surgery, and is ready to find her forever family.

    Yuma can be adopted to anyone in the US.

    This sweet, 9-month-old Golden Retriever girl is full of love and looking for her forever family. At just 40lbs, she’s an absolute sweetheart with a gentle and affectionate nature.

    Nala was rescued in Korea and is currently in foster care there until we can find her perfect forever family in the US. 

    Nala’s rescue story is one of resilience. She was raised by an elderly couple who struggled to afford her care, and when their financial difficulties grew, Nala was mistreated…. to put it lightly. A kind rescuer intervened, and eventually took her in. Now, she’s healthy, happy, and ready for a fresh start. 💫

    Nala is a social butterfly who gets along wonderfully with people, children, cats and other dogs she has met. She walks well on a leash, stays calm around strangers, and has a gentle, playful spirit. Her affectionate temperament makes her a perfect companion for any family.

    This loving girl is already spayed, microchipped, and fully vaccinated. All she needs now is a kind and loving home to call her own 🏡 ❤️

  • Meet our final rescue of 2025: Jingle ✨

    As just a puppy, her story began in South Korea, where the odds were stacked against her from the start. After being thrown into a high kill shelter in a country where adoption rates are less than 20%, Jingle was facing euthanasia…until our partners stepped in just in the nick of time.

    True to her name, Jingle’s rescue was a holiday miracle! 

    Despite her rough start, this (estimated) 6-month-old Samoyed girl is the definition of “happily ever after.” She is a literal ray of sunshine who greets every person she meets with a classic Samoyed smile and wagging tail. 🐾

    While we don’t know much about Lucky’s life before being rescued in South Korea, we do know that his future is looking much brighter now. He is officially ready to leave his past behind and find the forever home he’s been waiting for in the U.S. ✈️

    Lucky is the definition of a “gentle soul.” While he can be a bit timid at first, his tail never stops wagging the moment he meets someone new. He is a quiet, soft-natured boy who simply wants to be near people and feel safe.

    🤍 Progress: A total gentleman on the leash (no pulling!) and primarily outdoor toilet trained. He is non-reactive to other dogs and people on walks. Indoors, he is peaceful and loves resting in cozy spots. He already knows how to “sit” on command!

    Lucky is currently in foster care in South Korea and is looking for a patient, loving family in the U.S. He will arrive fully vaccinated, microchipped, and neutered, and can fly into many major U.S. airports. ✈️

    He is so ready for a life of quiet naps, neighborhood strolls, and a family to call his own.

  • In the high-kill shelters of Korea, winter isn’t just cold—it’s deadly. For small dogs, freezing temperatures are often a death sentence before the euthanasia list even reaches them. Our rescuer described shelter conditions as “snow, dirt, ground”.

    Even worse, with the holidays coming up, many more dogs are euthanized to make room for new puppies. The odds were stacked against these three, but they are true holiday miracles. 

    ⭐ TINSEL (4-5 yrs, 8lbs): A true miracle, rescued just one hour before his scheduled euthanasia. He is a blind-in-one-eye cuddle-bug who still sees the world with so much love. He asks to be held and cuddled often. He’ll likely be ready for his US home in Jan 2026!

    ⭐ CHESTNUT (6 yrs, 12.5lbs): A heartbreaking survivor. When our rescuer went to save her + her sister, her sister had already frozen to death. Chestnut’s personality is described as “angelic,” deeply affectionate, and forms strong bonds. Plus, she is as fluffy and smiley as a plush toy!

  • Sesame was rescued from a South Korean Kill Shelter. This sweet boy was thankfully pretty healthy and a complete firecracker from day one. At only 2 years old, he is running the show at his foster moms house. He’s currently being fostered with 3 larger dogs (large poodle and 2 corgis) and is the boss. His foster says he is so sweet, confident, smart and loves people too.
