Romeo was saved from a Chinese meat farm. He was going to be murdered for food until one of our team members was able to save him. At roughly 6 years old, Romeo DESERVES his happily ever after. We have no idea what he endured prior to rescue, but we can’t imagine it was good if he ended up at a meat farm. Romeo is wonderful with dogs, humans and kids he’s met. He’s incredibly friendly. He can be adopted to anyone in the UK or US.

Candy and Floss are Chinese meat trade survivors. We were told a breeder gave them up and sold them to meat traders as they were deemed “useless.” Floss, the son, is partially blind and his mom is his biggest source of comfort. They are very bonded and so incredibly loving to people and dogs. Candy and Floss are currently in foster care and can be adopted to anyone that lives in the UK willing to give them a beautiful life that they have never had.

Coal was found on the streets not far from our safe haven in Beijing, China. One of our staff found him on the side of the road, eating a dead bird from the ground because he was so hungry. Coal had horrible skin, was so scruffy and in dire need of help. We agreed to take him in immediately and it turns out baby boy is around 7 years old... We are so ready for him to live a beautiful life with a family of his own. He has done wonderful with the dogs and people at our safe haven. If you live in the UK or US, please apply.

Luka is a China meat truck rescue. He was heading for slaughter and saved by amazing Chinese activists. Luka is around 4 years old and friendly with the humans, dogs and cats he’s met. He can be adopted the UK or USA.

Ms. Mollie was saved from a meat farm in China. At only 1.7kg, this 3 year old love was going to be eaten for food. Since rescue, she has opened up quite a bit. Mollie is wonderful with all people/dogs she has been around. She can be adopted to anyone in the UK or US.

Poppy is the ultimate sweetheart!! Our 2 year old, 19.5 lb terrier has gone through a lot in her short life. Our Korean partners saved her on the day of euthanasia and after healing her up, she’s now finally in US foster care. Poppy is currently being fostered in Kansas City with 3 LARGE dogs (who were also adopted through The Big 3.)
Her foster describes her as “fun loving, energetic, affectionate, cuddly and spunky. She is incredibly playful and curious. A little timid but is warming up fast.“
Poppy’s ideal home would have another dog (could really be any size) that would love daily playtime but is not TOO high energy as she does appreciate her downtime & chilling out. She is always ready to cuddle on a couch or bed with her humans. She would benefit from a home / humans who have a lot of love to give and plenty of time for her, as she really is a lover and wants to be around her people as much as possible.
🐶Poppy Facts:
• Great on car rides.
• Sleeps through the night - no issues.
• No barking / not super vocal.
• No food aggression - if anything she is timid while eating so it’s important to make her feel safe.
• No potty accidents & seems to be house trained (we are super diligent about going outside every couple hours)
• LOVES food and treats
• Doing great with other dogs (currently 3-5 LARGE dogs and has been great)
