Where are you located?
The ladies of TB3 are located across the United States and the United Kingdom. For this reason, we do not have a safe haven in the US or UK. Our dogs are in China and Korea generally until adopted. From time to time, we are able to front the flight costs of our dogs and get them into American foster homes until adopted. We mainly do direct adoptions; meaning that our dogs are adopted before they fly and will go straight to their new parents homes upon arrival. Our China dogs generally fly in cargo planes to JFK or LAX in the US and generally to Heathrow in London. For Korea, we rely solely on flight volunteers and the dogs have more flexibility to fly into other larger international airports in the US. (ATL, SFO, SEA, CHI are generally the airports we can fly into if not LAX/JFK).

What’s the best way to help the organization?
1. Engage- follow, share, like, and comment on our social media posts
2. Spread the word- talk to your friends, family, neighbors about our mission
3. Donate- time and resources
All of these are major ways to help us grow and save the lives of these angels!

Are the dogs healthy?
Dogs at TB3 mostly come to us in deplorable conditions. Our #1 priority is their well-being. For that reason, we run a multitude of tests to check the common ailments dogs can get and will not fly them to you until they are healthy and have been cleared by our veterinarian team in Asia. All dogs are fully vaccinated to CDC regulations, microchipped and neutered/spayed upon arrival.

Is there an adoption fee?
We do not generally charge an adoption fee from China. Rather, we ask that adopters please cover the cost of the dogs freedom flight over. We spend thousands of dollars covering medical, food, boarding, and transportation expenses for each dog in China and for that reason, we cannot also cover the freedom flights. Our China broker & airlines set these costs in which we have no say over. In Korea, we have a small adoption fee which also covers the cost of the flight + US broker fees. It is generally an $1800 adoption fee. We are a very small donation based rescue that solely rely upon donations and the very small adoption fee from Korea.

Where do the dogs come from?
We primarily save dogs from the Asian meat trade in China and high kill shelters in South Korea. It is estimated that more than 30 million dogs are slaughtered for food in Asia annually. A quick google search will give you more information on the barbaric practices used against innocent animals. It is why we are so passionate about saving dogs and raising awareness about the Asian Dog Meat Trade.

I don’t see the breed I want, can you notify me when you get one?
We created this rescue to raise awareness for the dog meat trade in Asia and to show people that you can in fact adopt almost any breed. Please follow our social media accounts as we save many different types of breeds.
